What is a Content Day?

Content Days are small group photoshoot events designed as a cost and time efficient way to produce a varied range of images for web & social media. Retouching is professional, but does not include altering permanent features. This event is private and for receiving images only. Nation will be the only photographer.

15 retouched images will be delivered. 1 of the 15 images will be a composite image (environmental recreation).

This event is risqué-adverse! All content will stay safe. No nudity or boudoir.

High Fantasy?

You are free to attend in any kind of styling, cosplay, or costume that you wish. However, backdrops and set design will based around genres of swords & magic.

When, where, and what does the whole day look like?

Event will be held in a private studio in the West Bottoms, KC. Time and date is TBD. Sign up is currently to gather interest in the event.

Pace will be easy going. For backgrounds, we will shoot on a hand painted grey, hand painted green with gold curtains, and my ‘fields of the mythos’ set which includes a dreamy sunset raking through tall grasses and trees, all in the studio and all practical. Rotation between models will be round-robin style with minimum two rotations each. This allows everyone to practice and think of ideas to achieve the perfect shot as we go. We will also sneak in some bonus group photos!

You may take breaks, stop, go again, or arrive/leave the event any time you like. However arriving late or leaving early may mean missing certain backdrops. You’re welcome to as much time as you need to change into other outfits, however we will continue taking photos during the shoot time. There will be scheduled breaks in between each backdrop/lighting change with plenty of time to change into different outfits.

Air Quality: We will be running a haze machine during 1 or more background sets. This allows for a textured atmosphere and visible rays of light to be photographed. Specifically we we will use Chauvet DJ HFG fluid which is water based, non-toxic, and does not stain. Please keep this in mind if you have asthma or similar medical considerations.

There will be no hair and makeup team. If you’d like professional HMUA, you’ll need to book separately prior to the event. Bringing friends to help with styling is totally fine!

How much money and how much time?

Planned cost of entry is 180.00 each with a rough 2 hour event time. Proof Galleries for photo choice should be expected within 2 weeks and delivery 2 - 3 months after proofs are selected.

Does sign-up mean I’m in?

Sign-up is currently a waitlist and setup to prompt interest. Once the event is scheduled a purchased ticket guarantees the spot.

Sign-up limit is 8.

What if I purchase but can’t make it?

With enough notice, tickets can be sold or gifted. You may choose to another buyer. Please reach out to me ASAP if this is your situation.
